Everyone should be able to use MyFutureSelf.
Our accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are actively testing and improving the experience against that target.
Last updated July 15, 2026. This statement describes our target and current process; it is not a claim of certification or third-party-verified conformance.
What we design and test for
- Keyboard access, visible focus, and logical focus order.
- Clear headings, landmarks, labels, instructions, and error messages.
- Readable contrast, text resizing, zoom, and narrow-screen reflow.
- Reduced-motion support and controls for motion that starts automatically.
- Screen-reader and other assistive-technology compatibility.
- Accessible alternatives for meaningful charts, images, and documents.
Scope and ongoing review
This statement covers the MyFutureSelf web experience, including Swoop's student workspace and public information pages.
AI-generated responses and newly uploaded content can vary. We review the product with automated checks, keyboard testing, and zoom and reflow testing. Complete VoiceOver and NVDA task testing, document checks, and institutional review remain required before any release-wide conformance claim. A passing automated check alone does not establish conformance.
Report an accessibility barrier
If something prevents you from using MyFutureSelf, email us. We will confirm receipt as soon as practical, ask only for the details needed to investigate, and share progress on the report. If resolving the barrier takes time, we will work with you to provide the information or function another accessible way.
